How and where do I make a BPAY Payment?

How and where do I make a BPAY Payment?

Simply follow these steps:
Register for Internet or phone banking at your financial institution, if you haven't already.
Log onto your Internet banking service or call your phone banking service.
Select the BPAY or bill payment option and follow the simple instructions and key in the biller code and account number we will provide when you place your order.
Wait for and record your receipt/confirmation number.

Is BPAY safe?

BPAY transactions are protected using high levels of security. As a result, thousands of Australians pay their bills with BPAY every day using the Internet and phone banking services of over 180 banks, building societies and credit unions.
All transactions are conducted through your own financial institution so your banking details are not disclosed to anyone (not even us!)

Like other transactions, BPAY payments are traceable. So if you have a problem, simply contact the financial institution where you made the payment.

For details of the security features provided to you by your financial institution, and how to protect your personal information, contact your financial institution.

What does BPAY cost?

A BPAY payment is an account transaction, so check with your bank, building society or credit union to see whether any fees or charges apply.

How long will it take for the payment to go through?

As long as you make a payment before your financial institution's cut-off time (on a banking business day), we should be able to confirm your payment the following banking business day.

If you make a payment after your financial institution's cut-off time, your payment will go through the next banking business day and we will be able to confirm it two business days after you have made the payment.
